Procedure execution order



1. Set the piston of the first cylinder to the TDC position. To do this, set the gearbox to neutral and apply the parking brake. Install a bent open-end wrench or a ratchet head on the central bolt securing the crankshaft gear. Turn the crankshaft by hand clockwise so that the mark on the pulley is opposite the pointer on the cylinder block.

2. At the same time, with correct adjustment, the fixing bolts (arrows) should enter the camshaft gears.

3. If this fails, turn the crankshaft one full revolution. Regular M6x1.00x30 bolts can be used as fixing bolts (camshaft) and M8x1.25x40 (high pressure fuel pump).
