Seat adjustment
Front seats
Seat adjustment must only be carried out when the vehicle is stationary!
In chapter Elements of car security systems contains important information on safety issues and the correct adjustment of the seats, their backs and head restraints - before driving, adjust the seat accordingly.
To adjust the position of the seat in the longitudinal direction, pull up the latch bracket located under the front edge of the cushion. While holding the brace up, slide the seat assembly forward or backward to a comfortable position, then release the latch. To check if the seat is secure, try moving it back and forth.
Adjusting the position of the front seat in the longitudinal direction
Adjustment of the angle of inclination of the seatback is carried out using the rotary handle located on the inner side surface of the backrest.
Adjustment of an inclination of a back of a forward seat
The seat cushion height adjustment knob is located on the outer front corner of the cushion.

The lever for releasing the backrest lock, allowing it to be folded, is located in the upper part of the outer wall of the backrest. To fold the backrest, pull the lever up.

Headrests
Head restraints help prevent neck and head injuries in a rear-end collision. In order for head restraints to perform their protective functions effectively, they must be properly adjusted. Adjust the height of the head restraints so that the top of the head restraint cushion is flush with the top edge of the ear. If this is not possible for tall passengers, the head restraint should be set to the highest possible position. The head restraint is adjusted with both hands at the same time, so do not attempt to adjust the head restraint while the vehicle is moving. To raise the head restraint, tilt it forward to release the lock, then pull it up/down.
Headrest height adjustment
To remove the head restraint for cleaning or replacement, proceed as follows: lift the head restraint up to the stop, then press the release buttons and release the fixing rods from the seat back.
Removing the headrest
Backseat
Folding the cushion and backrests of the rear seat
The rear seatback is split in two and can be folded forward to provide direct access to the luggage compartment and allow for the transport of bulky, long items.
Each of the two sections of the rear seatback can be folded forward independently of the other. The release buttons for the backrests are located on the outer sides of their upper edges.
Adjusting the angle of the rear seat backs
Model Luggage Extension Corsa can be produced in three different ways.
Luggage extension options
To expand the luggage compartment, first remove the rear shelf and head restraints, tilt the rear seat backrests to the desired angle and lock them in the selected position.
To expand the luggage compartment in the second way, remove the rear shelf and head restraints and hang the seat belt buckles on the rear seat backs Press the unlock button, fold the rear seat back on the seat cushion and place the removable rear shelf behind the front seats.
Attaching the seat belt buckles to the rear seat back
To expand the luggage compartment in the third way, remove the rear shelf and head restraints, move the front seats forward and hang the seat belt buckles on the rear seat backs. Lift the rear seat cushion by the hinge and place it in a vertical position on the floor. Press the release button, fold the rear seatback forward and place the removable rear shelf behind the front seats.
Folding the rear seatback
When setting the rear seat back to its original position, release the seat belt from under the back of the seat belt.
Before returning the backrest to an upright position, be sure to release the seat belt from under it
To expand the luggage compartment on the model Combo proceed similarly to the third method described for the model Corsa, taking into account the fact that there is no rear shelf, and to unlock the seat back, press the lever locks.
Folding the rear seatback on the Combo model
Headrests
The rear seat is equipped with three head restraints, the left and right of which have a standard design similar to the design of the front seat head restraints.
When folding the seats, or in order to expand the rear-view sector (with unoccupied rear center seat) head restraints should be lowered to the lowest position, after releasing the spring clips of their rods.

Eyelets for attaching a safety net
Metal eyelets are provided at the corners of the luggage compartment floor panel, allowing you to fix a safety net designed to secure the cargo being transported.
Eyelets located in the corners of the luggage compartment floor panel are designed to attach a safety net or guardrail
With the help of the same eyelets on the Van models, the protective grille is also fixed.
Guardrail (combo models)
The guard rail can be mounted behind the front seatbacks (all Combo models), or behind the back of the rear seat, (Combo Tour model).
Barrage installation
To attach the grille, cut out the casing at the marked points and fasten the grille from above and below on both sides. After removing the grille, close the mounting holes with covers.
Cigarette lighter and onboard power socket
Cigarette lighter
The cigarette lighter is located in the front section of the center console of the car and functions only with two key positions in the ignition lock: «I» or «II», i.e., when the ignition is switched on or power is supplied to auxiliary consumers of electricity. To turn on the cigarette lighter, press the button until it clicks. After heating the spiral, the button will automatically return to its original position with a click.
Assembly location for cigarette lighter with ashtray and on-board power outlet
To avoid the cigarette lighter failure, do not hold its button while heating the coil!
The cigarette lighter socket simultaneously acts as an on-board power outlet, which can be connected to any auxiliary car accessories (compressor, vacuum cleaner, mobile phone charger, etc.). To gain access to the outlet, remove the cigarette lighter from the socket. Electrical consumers connected in this way will operate on battery power when the ignition is switched off.
The power consumption of devices connected to the on-board power supply must not exceed 240 W!
Ashtrays
Use ashtrays only for their intended purpose! To prevent fire, do not place pieces of paper, candy wrappers, or other combustible materials in ashtrays.
The front ashtray is integrated into a single assembly with the cigarette lighter. To open the ashtray, press the top edge of the lid. To empty the ashtray of cigarette butts, open the lid of the ashtray and, by pulling upwards, remove the receiving container from its seat (refer to illustration).
Glove boxes
The main glove box is located on the right side of the vehicle's instrument panel and is equipped with a hinged lid. Opening the drawer with the ignition on automatically activates its illumination.
An additional storage box is located under the front passenger seat and is pulled forward by its handles. This glove box is designed for loading no more than 1 kg.
Interior rear view mirror
With its base, the internal rear-view mirror is glued to the inner surface of the windshield, from above in its central part. A lever is provided at the bottom of the mirror assembly, which allows switching the reflective surface to night mode, which protects the driver's eyes from being blinded by the light of vehicles moving behind in the same direction.
The lever for switching the reflective surface of the rear-view mirror to night mode is located at the bottom of the assembly
Heated front seats
If equipped, the front seat heating switches are located in the front of the center console under the heater control knobs and are marked with the icon. The left switch controls the driver's seat heating, and the right switch controls the front passenger's seat heating.
Location of the front seat heating switches
Control lamps of inclusion of heating of seats are built in switches.
Switches of management of functioning of the electric drive of external rear-view mirrors
On models with a manual drive of external mirrors, their position is adjusted using levers located on the inside of the bases of the mirrors.
On models equipped with an electric drive for adjusting the outside rear-view mirrors, the electric drive operation control switch is located on the inside of the front doors of the car at their junction with the instrument panel.
The control unit for the position and heating of the exterior mirror
The choice of the mirror to be adjusted is made by moving the upper slide switch to the appropriate side. The actual adjustment is carried out using the lower rotary switch. Do not forget to return the slide switch to the middle after completing the adjustment (neutral) position to avoid the risk of accidentally disturbing the required mirror position.
The switch of heating of external rear-view mirrors
The switch for heating the exterior mirrors is located in the position and heating control unit. Turning on the heating is accompanied by the operation of the indicator located next to the switch.
The heating switches off automatically 15 minutes after it is turned on.
