Replacing the rear light located on the tailgate (Opel Astra J)

You will need: 8 mm socket head, flat blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Pry it up with a screwdriver…



3. …and remove the plugs of the technological holes.



4. Remove the three bolts securing the rear light…



5. …and move the light away from the tailgate.





6. Press the latch..



7. …disconnect the wiring harness connector from the rear light…



8. …and remove the lantern.

9. Install the taillight in the reverse order of removal.
