Replacing an additional brake light (Opel Astra J)

You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Pry it up with a screwdriver and, overcoming the resistance of the plastic clips..



3. …remove the brake light from the tailgate.



4. Squeeze the latch…



5. …and, having disconnected the wiring harness connector from the brake light, remove the brake light.





6. Install the additional brake light in the reverse order of removal.
