Replacement of the trunk light (Opel Astra J)

You will need: 8 mm socket head, flat blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Use a screwdriver to pry up the edge of the lampshade…



3. ...and, overcoming the force of the retainer, remove the trunk light from the socket in the left side panel trim.

4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the trunk light and remove the light.

5. Install the trunk light in the reverse order of removal.
