Replacing the glove compartment light (Opel Astra J)

You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Open the glove compartment.



3. Pry up the edge of the lampshade (use a screwdriver if necessary)…



4. ...and, overcoming the force of the retainer, remove the glove compartment light from the socket.

5. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the glove compartment light and remove the light.

6. Install the glove compartment light in the reverse order of removal.
