Replacement of the electric window control unit and switches (Opel Astra J)

You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Remove the screw securing the electric window control unit to the driver's door armrest…

3. …and remove the unit from the door armrest.



4. Squeeze the latch…



5. …disconnect the wiring harness connector from the block and remove the block.

Note: The window control switches located in the front passenger and rear doors are replaced in the same way.

6. Install the power window control unit in the reverse order of removal.
