Camshaft Seal — Replacement (Opel Astra G)

1. Remove the camshaft sprocket.

2. Drill two diametrically opposite holes in the seal and screw in self-tapping screws. Remove the seal by grasping the screws with pliers (see photo).



3. Press the new seal into place using a tubular mandrel that rests against the outer part of the seal (see photo).
