1 - Right support
2 - Right side member
3 — an arm of the right support
4 - Front support
5 - Beam subframe
6 — an arm of a back support
7 - Torsional load damper
8 - Left support
9 - Left side member
10 - Transmission support
11 - Engine
12 - Transmission
1. If necessary, in order to ensure freedom of access, jack up the front of the car and place it on props. If equipped, remove the crankcase protection.
2. Check up a condition of rubber pillows of support. In case of detection of cracks, delaminations, separation from the metal substrate, signs of rubber hardening, etc. defects, replace the support.
3. Using a torque wrench, check the tightening forces of the fasteners of the supports.
4. Levering the mount, check the supports for signs of excessive play - if necessary, ask an assistant to rock the unit in different directions and observe the behavior of the supports. The backlash present in new components leads to rapid wear of the bearings. Replace defective components.
Replacement
Before removing components, mark their installation positions with paint.
Right support
1. Where required, remove the air cleaner (see chapter Power and exhaust systems).
2. To unload the support, support the engine with a trolley jack - in order to distribute the load, lay a wooden block between the head of the jack and the oil pan.
3. Turn out three bolts of fastening of the right support to the bearing arm of the block.
4. Turn out bolts of fastening of a support to a body and remove an arm in gathering with a pillow.
5. If necessary, the support can be disassembled, for which it is necessary to unscrew a single bolt threaded through the central part of the pillow.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure all fasteners are tightened to the correct torque.
Front support
1. Apply the parking brake, then jack up the front of the vehicle and place it on jack stands.
2. To unload the support, support the engine with a trolley jack - in order to distribute the load, lay a wooden block between the head of the jack and the oil pan.
When jacking up the power unit, be careful - do not load the exhaust system, if necessary, disconnect the front pipe from the exhaust manifold (see the Head of the Power supply and release system).
3. Give a nut of fastening of a support to an arm and remove it together with a washer. Remove the mounting bolt.
4. Turn out bolts of fastening of an arm of a support to a case of transmission and remove it in gathering with a pillow.
5. Check the condition of all support components. Replace worn and damaged parts.
6. Replace the support bracket and tighten its fixing bolts to the required torque.
7. Correctly oriented, place the support on the subframe, then lower the unit. Install the bolts, then tighten the new fixing nuts to the required torque.
8. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
Rear support
1. Apply the parking brake, then jack up the front of the vehicle and place it on jack stands.
2. To unload the support, support the transmission with a trolley jack - in order to distribute the load, lay a wooden block between the head of the jack and the transmission pan.
3. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a back support to a stretcher and give a nut fixing a support to an arm of transmission. Removing the support and assembly with the bracket, remove it from under the car.
4. When installing, put the support in place and install the bolts and nuts of its fastening to the subframe. Align the support with the transmission bracket and tighten the support mounting nut. Tighten fasteners to the required torque. Remove the jack.
5. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
Left support
1. Apply the parking brake, jack up the front of the vehicle and place it on jack stands. If equipped, remove the crankcase protection.
2. Remove the battery (see chapter Engine electrical equipment).
3. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the basic pallet of the battery (see chapter Engine electrical equipment).
4. Support the transmission with a trolley jack by placing a block of wood between the jack head and the pallet to distribute the load.
5. Turn out six (RKPP) / five (AT) mounting bolts and remove the mounting bracket from the transmission.
6. Turn out four fixing bolts with heads like TORX and remove a support, separating it from a body.
7. If necessary, the support can be disassembled, for which it is necessary to unscrew a single bolt threaded through the center of the pillow.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure all fasteners are tightened to the correct torque.
