Fuses and fuses
Anti-lock braking system control unit.
The main fuses are located in the fuse box at the bottom of the instrument panel on the driver's side under a removable cover.
Some models have additional fuses in a second fuse box located on the engine compartment bulkhead.
The circuits that have different fuses are marked on the inside of the cover.
A blown fuse can be identified by a melted or broken wire.
When replacing a fuse, make sure the corresponding circuit is disconnected.
Remove the fuse box and remove the appropriate fuse.
Before replacing a blown fuse, try to find the cause of the problem and always install a new fuse rated for the appropriate amperage.
Fuses have their own color code (see specification).
- Red 10A
- Yellow 20 A
- Blue 15 A
- Green 30 A
Relay
The main relays are located in the fuse box, above the fuses (fig. 12.11. 12.12).
