If you do not have a suitable place to repair your car or you have to work in the cold winter, you can set up in a rented workshop. There are lifts with a platform, inspection pits and some special tools, in winter the work areas are heated. You can count on free space in a rented workshop more in the middle of the week than at the end, when all car enthusiasts take up their tools. You should keep a strict count of your time. Only if the work goes well and, if possible, an assistant works with you, your work is worth it. If you are doing extensive repairs yourself for the first time, then the experiment due to the payment for the accumulated hours may be more expensive than the cost of work in a professional workshop.
