Maintenance work
Damage to the varnish caused by stone impacts must be repaired before rust forms in these areas. The best product for this purpose is so-called spot varnish, which can be purchased in small bottles with a brush.
If the area with damaged varnish is already covered with rust, remove it by sanding - depending on the volume - with a pencil and a fiberglass eraser, sandpaper or an electric angle grinder.
Apply primer before varnishing.
