Install the cylinder head on the surface plate and check with a ruler and a set of feeler gauges the warpage of the mating surface of the cylinder head, which should not exceed 0.015 mm over a length of 150 mm and 0.05 mm over the entire length of the head.
Grinding of the head should be performed in a workshop. The maximum permissible thickness of the removed metal layer should not exceed 0.5 mm.
