Increased fuel consumption:
- the air filter element is dirty;
- fuel injection system damage (gasoline engines);
- the injectors are faulty (diesel engines);
- incorrect ignition timing (gasoline engines);
- low tire pressure.
Fuel leaks:
- the fuel tank, pipes and hoses are damaged or rusted.
Increased noise in the exhaust system:
- the exhaust system is leaky or the exhaust manifold is not securely screwed on;
- damage to mufflers or pipes;
- the exhaust system suspension or its contact with the vehicle body is defective.
