Increased fuel consumption:
- the air filter element is dirty;
- damage to the fuel injection system (gasoline engines);
- injectors are faulty (diesel engines);
- incorrect ignition timing (gasoline engines);
- low tire pressure.
Fuel leaks:
- damaged or corroded fuel tank, pipes and hoses.
Increased noise in the exhaust system:
- the exhaust system is leaking or the exhaust manifold is not securely screwed;
- damage to mufflers or pipes;
- defective exhaust system suspension or its contact with the car body.
