Lower control arm of the front suspension

Removal

1. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the front wheel.

2. Remove the clamp bolt securing the lower arm ball joint pin to the steering knuckle.

3. Using a suitable lever, move the lower control arm of the front suspension downward and separate it from the steering knuckle. If the ball joint pin is tight in the steering knuckle, use a screwdriver or chisel as a wedge and widen the clamp of the steering knuckle.

4. Unscrew the bolts securing the lever to the lower frame and remove the lever.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, and tightening the hinge bolts securing the lever to the lower frame is carried out after installing the car on the wheels.
