Removing
1. Remove the steering wheel.
2. Remove the steering column covers by unscrewing the tilt control lever.
3. Remove the two screws from the front of the casing.
4. Remove three screws from the bottom of the casing.
5. Remove the upper casing of the steering column.
6. Remove the lower casing of a steering column.
7. Remove the key position indicator in the ignition switch.
8. Remove turn signals and wipers.
9. Remove the ignition switch.
10. Remove the lower instrument panel trim on the driver's side, then remove the air duct connecting the air distributor to the heater.
11. In the driver's footwell, unscrew the screws and remove the interior trim to access the steering column support bracket. Remove the bottom bolt and top nuts and remove the support bracket.
12. Mark the position of the intermediate shaft relative to the steering column. Unscrew the clamping bolt and remove the intermediate shaft from the grooves on the bottom of the steering shaft.
13. Unscrew bolts of the top fastening of a steering column and take a steering column from the car.
Installation
1. Establish a steering column and half screw in bolts of fastening of a steering column.
2. Check the correct installation of the steering column and finally tighten the mounting bolts.
3. Install the intermediate shaft on the splines of the steering shaft base. Coat the thread of the clamping bolt with an anti-tightening agent and screw in the clamping bolt.
4. Install the steering column support bracket and loosely screw on the nuts. Coat the threads of the bolt with an anti-loose agent and secure the steering column support bracket with the bolt. Finally tighten the nuts securing the steering column support bracket.
5. Reinstall the air duct and trim in the driver's footwell.
6. Install the ignition switch.
7. Install turn signal switches and windshield wipers.
8. Install the steering column covers.
9. Install the steering wheel.
