Models without airbag
1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.
2. Set the front wheels to move straight ahead.
3. Remove the horn button from the steering wheel and disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Use a screwdriver to bend back the steering wheel nut retaining tab
5. Unscrew the steering wheel mounting nut.
6. Apply alignment marks to the steering wheel and steering shaft.
7. Using a puller, remove the steering wheel and spring from the steering shaft.
8. Install the spring and steering wheel onto the splines of the steering shaft. When doing this, align the marks made when removing the steering wheel.
9. Install a new spring washer and screw on the steering wheel mounting nut, tightening it to the specified torque.
10. Use a screwdriver to bend back the tab that secures the steering wheel mounting nut.
11. Connect the electrical connector to the horn button and install the button in the center of the steering wheel.
12. Connect the battery and check the operation of the horn.
Models with airbag
1. Remove the ground wire from the battery. Warning! Do not perform further actions earlier than 1 minute later, so that the airbag capacitor is completely discharged.
2. Set the front wheels to move straight ahead.

3. Remove the two screws from the back of the steering wheel.

4. Carefully remove the air bag.

5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the airbag.

6. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector from the radio control switch.

7. Use a screwdriver to bend back the steering wheel nut retaining tab. Completely unscrew the wheel mounting bolts and remove the wheel.


8. Unscrew and remove the steering wheel mounting nut.

9. Remove the spring washer.
10. Apply alignment marks to the steering wheel and steering shaft.

11. Using a puller, remove the steering wheel from the steering shaft grooves.

12. When removing the steering wheel, route the radio control wiring through the hole in the steering shaft.

13. Install the steering wheel onto the steering shaft splines and pass the radio control wires through the steering wheel hole.
14. Install the washer, screw on the steering wheel mounting nut, tightening it to the required torque. Secure the nut from unscrewing by bending the washer tongue.
15. Connect the electrical connector of the radio control switch
16. Install the airbag by connecting the electrical connector first. Secure the airbag with screws.
17. Connect the battery.
