Removal
1. Open the trunk, unscrew the screws and remove the trunk lid trim.
2. Disconnect the lock rod by removing the plastic retainer with a lever.
3. Unscrew the bolts and remove the lock from the inside of the trunk lid.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Check that the trunk lid lock is aligned precisely with the lock striker plate. If necessary, loosen the bolts and adjust the position of the striker plate.
