Thermostat


  • It's starting to open up (all models) at -92°C
  • Fully open (all models) at - 107°C
  • Operating temperature (approximately) — 80°C

Expansion tank cap


  • Valve response pressure (all models) — 1.20-1.35 bar
  • Boiling point - 125°C

Cooling fan switch


  • Turns on (all models) at - 100°C
  • Turns off (all models) at -95°C

Tightening torques, Nm



Coolant pump bolts:
  • Models 1.4 and 1.6 l (except C16 NZ2) (M6) — 8
  • Models C16 NZ2, 1.8 and 2.0 l (M8) - 25

Oil lines to the radiator - 22

Outlet pipe to thermostat housing
  • models C16 NZ2, 1.8 and 2.0 l - 8

Coolant Temperature Gauge Sensor - 10

Engine Temperature Warning Light Sensor - 11

Thermostat housing to cylinder head:
  • Models 1.4 and 1.6 l (except C16 NZ2) — 10
  • Models C16 NZ2, 1.8 and 2.0 l - 15
