Removal



1. Remove the pre-chamber of the multi-flow air intake system (see subsection 5.1.15).

2. Remove the secondary air intake system front connecting pipe.

3. Remove the auxiliary drive belt.

4. Lock the water pump shaft with a wrench and remove the water pump pulley bolts.

5. Remove the water pump pulley. You will need new bolts during installation.

6. Lock the power steering pump pulley and remove the pulley bolts.

7. Remove the pulley. You will need new bolts during installation.

8. Disconnect the wire from the right bank sensor and disconnect the wire from the timing belt cover.

11. Remove the bolts and the additional belt tensioner.

12. Remove the bolts and outer timing belt cover.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the timing belt.

2. Remove the camshaft sprockets, remove the timing belt tensioner pulley and idler pulleys.

4. Unscrew the rear cover mounting bolts and remove the cover.
