Multi-flow air supply system (Opel Omega B)

This system serves to increase engine power at any engine speed. The system consists of a pre-chamber and two flaps, one of which is installed in the air intake pipe, and the second in the upper section of the intake manifold. The position of the flaps is regulated by an electronic control unit depending on the engine speed.

To test and check the system, you need to contact specialists.

Solenoid of the damper installed in the air intake pipe



The solenoid is located at the rear of the pre-chamber.

1. Disconnect the solenoid connector and disconnect the vacuum tubes. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the solenoid (indicated by the arrow).

2. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

A damper located in the air intake pipe

1. Disconnect the idle speed control hose from the air intake manifold.

2. Remove the pipes.

3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the throttle body diaphragm.



3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the throttle body diaphragm.


4. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the flap (the screw is indicated by the arrow).

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Intake manifold throttle solenoid



The solenoid is located on the left rear of the intake manifold.

Pre-chamber

1. Remove the air flow sensor.

2. Remove the air intake pipes.

3. Disconnect the connection connector and vacuum hose from the throttle solenoid.

4. Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the camera.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
