Fuel tank — removal and installation (Opel Omega B)

Removal

1. Release pressure from the fuel system.

2. Remove the rear right wheel arch insert.

Models with a sedan body type

3. Disconnect the fuel pump connection connector (1) (2 – fuel tank mounting bolt).

4. Disconnect the fuel and vent hoses from the fuel tank.

5. Install the support under the fuel tank. Unscrew the mounting nuts and bolts and remove the mounting strips. Remove the fuel tank.

Models with a station wagon body type

6. Remove the fuel pump cover and disconnect the connection connector.



7. Disconnect the fuel and vent hoses from the tee (indicated by the arrow) fuel tank.



8. Remove the mounting nuts and bolts (arrow) and remove the fuel tank.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
