Fuel pump — removal and installation (Opel Omega B)

Removal

1. Release pressure from the fuel system.



2. Fold back the carpet in the luggage compartment and remove the mounting screws (indicated by arrows) and remove the lid.





3. Disconnect the pump connection connector, release the mounting clamps and disconnect the fuel hoses.





4. Unscrew the retaining ring.





5. Remove the pump cover and disconnect the connection connector and fuel hoses (arrows).



6. Release the mounting clamps and remove the pump together with the filter.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
