These models are equipped with the Bosch Motronic engine management system. The system is controlled by an electronic control unit that receives information from various sensors.

These models are equipped with the Bosch Motronic engine management system, similar to the Motronic system installed on models with a 2.0L SOHC engine. The main difference between this system and the Bosch Motronic system is the presence of a camshaft position sensor.
