Removal



1. Remove the lower engine compartment shield.

1. Remove the lower engine compartment shield.


2. If equipped, loosen the air conditioner multi-ribbed V-belt on the tensioner roller (1).

3. Remove the engine top shield and the air intake pipe.

4. Place a large screwdriver or similar lever on the tensioner.

5. Compress the belt tensioner and remove the multi-ribbed V-belt.

6. Remove the multi-ribbed V-belt between the viscous fan and the air diffuser.

7. If there is not enough space, remove the fan.

Installation



Installation


1. Place the new multi-ribbed V-belt on the pulleys according to the diagram, while squeezing the belt pulley as when removing. Ensure the correct position in the grooves of the pulleys.



2. Unload the tension member. The tension force is transferred from the tension member, the tension height is not adjustable.

3. Install the engine top shield and air intake pipe.

4. Where available, insert the multi-ribbed V-belt of the air conditioner, relieve the tension roller.

5. Install a fan with a viscous coupling.

6. Install the lower engine compartment shield.
