Thermostat — Test (Opel Omega A)

            0

1. A rough check of the thermostat can be done by lowering it on a piece of string into a pan filled with water. Bring the water to a boil and check if the thermostat opens. If not, replace it.

2. If you have a thermometer, you can determine the exact opening temperature of the thermostat and compare it with the one given in the Specifications.

3. If the thermostat does not close after cooling, it also needs to be replaced.
