- 1. Completely immerse the thermostat in the glycol solution. The temperature of the solution must be 11°C higher than the value indicated on the thermostat valve.
- 2. Thoroughly mix the solution. Under these conditions, the thermostat valve should open.
To check that the thermostat valve is closed, perform the following test:
- 1. Completely immerse the thermostat R in the glycol solution. The temperature of the solution must be 6°C lower than the temperature indicated on the thermostat valve.
- 2. Thoroughly mix the solution. Under these conditions, the thermostat valve must be fully closed.
