2. After draining the system, close the drain valve on the radiator.
3. Unscrew the cover of the expansion tank of the cooling system.
4. Disconnect the quick connector (1) T-connection of the supply hose of the engine.
5. Insert hose with funnel (1) into the hole in the T-connector (2) and fill with coolant.
6. Connect the quick connector of the T-piece of the engine supply hose.
7. Fill in coolant to the level «Cold» expansion tank. After the coolant level has stabilized, add coolant to the line of the lower edge of the return pipe (black arrow in the picture).
8. Install the expansion tank cap.
Note
- After removing the heater core located in the passenger compartment, the following procedure must be performed:
- Immediately after starting the engine, press the accelerator pedal three times, but do not allow the engine speed to exceed 2500 rpm.
9. Start and warm up the engine at 2500 rpm until the radiator fan turns on for the first time.
Note. After removing the heater core located in the passenger compartment, let the engine run for two minutes at a speed of 2000-2500 rpm. This will allow you to completely bleed the cooling system.
10. Bleed the cooling system by pressing the accelerator pedal three times, but do not allow the engine speed to exceed 2500 rpm.
11. Switch off the engine and let the engine cool down.
Note. After the test run of the engine, let it cool down and check the coolant level.
12. If necessary, adjust the coolant level according to the mark «Cold».
