2. After draining the system, close the drain valve on the radiator.
3. Open the ventilation valve (1) on the radiator.
Note. Close the radiator vent valve when coolant begins to flow through it.
4. Fill in coolant up to the line of the lower edge of the bleed screw on the expansion tank. After the coolant level stabilizes, fill the coolant up to the line of the lower edge of the return pipe (black arrow in the picture).
5. Install the cap on the expansion tank of the cooling system.
Note.
- After removing the heater core located in the passenger compartment, do the following:
- Immediately after starting the engine, press the accelerator pedal three times, but without allowing the engine speed to exceed 2500 rpm.
6. Start and warm up the engine at a frequency of 2500 rpm until the radiator fan turns on for the first time.
Note. After removing the heater core, located in the passenger compartment, let the engine run for two minutes at a speed of 2000-2500 rpm. This will allow you to completely bleed the cooling system.
7. Bleed the cooling system by pressing the accelerator pedal three times, but without allowing the engine speed to exceed 2500 rpm.
8. Turn off the engine and let the engine cool down.
9. If necessary, adjust the coolant level according to the mark «Cold».
