Thermally Viscous Cooling Fan — Removal and Installation (Opel Omega A)

1. On carbureted engines, disconnect the warm air duct and move it to the side.

2. If necessary, you can remove the cooling fan shroud. Pull out the upper clips, unclip the wiring harness and remove the shroud.

3. Unscrew the fan nut, it has a left-hand thread. Remove the cooling fan (photo).



4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
