The temperature sensitive element is screwed into the thermostat housing.
1. Drain the coolant so that its level is below the temperature-sensitive element.
2. Disconnect the connector on the gearbox holder.
3. Unscrew the temperature-sensitive element from the thermostat housing.
4. Check the temperature sensing element according to the requirements of Specifications Chapter Fuel, exhaust and emission control systems.
5. Tighten the heat-sensitive element with sealant, for example, OPEL-15 04 200 with force 8 Nm.
6. Connect the connector.
7. Fill the cooling system.
