You will need: tORX T20 key, flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Raise the glass to its highest position and remove the front door trim (see Removal and installation the front door trim).

2. Peel off the moisture-proof film from the inner door panel.

3. Use a screwdriver to pry up the edge of the hole plug in the rear end of the door…

4. …and remove the plug.

Note: The screw that secures the door lock switch is located under the plug.

5. Remove the screw securing the lock switch…

6. …and remove the switch.

7. Press the locking device on the rear part of the outer handle forward using a suitable rod…

8. …remove the back of the handle from the socket at the base of the handle…

9. …slide the handle back, disengaging the front lock from the base of the handle…

10. …and remove it by disengaging its leash from the handle base lever.
11. If it is necessary to remove the base of the outer handle, first remove the door lock (see Replacing the front door lock).
Note: It is necessary to remove the door lock because the lock and its casing do not allow the handle base to be removed from the door cavity.

12. Loosen the screw securing the handle base to the door panel by a few turns (do not unscrew the screw completely).

13. Move the base of the handle forward until the screw that secures it aligns with the widened part of the groove in the door…
