2. In the footwell on the driver's side, remove the bolt securing the steering column shaft to the steering shaft. Disconnect the shaft and take it aside.
3. Remove the battery and battery tray (see photo).
4. Disconnect the connector from the oxygen sensor.
5. On Zafira models, remove the hood seal, unscrew the nuts and remove the cover above the bulkhead of the engine compartment.
6. Fix the radiator by inserting the bolts into the side lugs.
7. Remove the hydraulic booster electric pump fuse from the mounting block on the left side of the engine compartment. Remove the fuse holder by removing the brackets and the electric pump wires.
8. Turn away a nut and disconnect a wire on weight from a plait of wires of a steering. Mark the position of the tourniquet, remove and move the tourniquet to the side.
9. Hang out the power unit (see photo).
10. Raise the front of the car and set it on stands, remove the wheels and the engine protection panel.
11. Remove the front bumper (Chapter 11).
12. Remove the protective panel of the right wing.
13. Turn away nuts and disconnect drafts of the stabilizer from racks of a suspension bracket.
14. Disconnect the tie rod ends from the hub bracket. Turn away bolts of collars and disconnect from an arm of a nave spherical support.
15. Further actions are illustrated in the photo.
16. Mark the position of the gearbox control rocker and disconnect the rocker from the bracket on the subframe.
17. Install a jack cart under the subframe, laying the board.
18. Mark the position of the subframe and unscrew the bolts of the subframe (bolts must be screwed into place during assembly). The subframe is attached with 10 bolts (2 front, 2 bolts above suspension arms and 6 rear bolts to bracket)
19. With an assistant, remove the subframe by passing the steering shaft through the floor cover (see photo).
20. Remove the steering gear, suspension arms and stabilizer bar from the subframe.
If necessary, remove the backstage bracket, press out and replace the rubber buffers (see photo).
21. Install in reverse order (see photo). Make sure that when installing the steering mechanism, the lower part of the boot does not disengage from the upper part of it. Otherwise, insert the bottom of the boot until it engages with the top (see photo).
