If your car stereo system is equipped with a security code, make sure you have the correct combination to activate the audio system before disconnecting the battery!
You will need two special DIN puller tools.
Car radio
1. Using an Allen key, remove the mounting screws at the four corners of the car radio control panel.

2. Insert the DIN pullers into the holes from the mounting screws - the pullers should snap into the internal assembly fasteners.

3. Move the puller brackets apart and carefully remove the radio assembly from the central section of the instrument panel - note that the unit's contact connectors have a quick-release design.
4. If necessary, remove the mounting screw, bend the locking tabs on the sides and remove the radio mounting box from the instrument panel. Disconnect the electrical wiring and antenna cable connectors at the rear of the mounting box.
