Remove the steering gear as described in the next section.
Remove the clamp and rubber bushing from the right side of the steering gear.
On a power steering gear, disconnect the fluid supply line fittings on the right side of the steering gear.
Remove the outer bellows clamps from both sides of the steering gear, then remove the tube/boot assembly.
Remove the inner clamps of the corrugated boot and the corrugated boot itself from the pipe.
Place the new bellows on the tube using new clamps. The clamps should be installed so that the ends of the clamps point upwards when the steering gear is installed on the vehicle.
Connect the tube/boot assembly to the steering gear and secure with new clamps, with the ends of the clamps facing up. Make sure the boot is not twisted.
On power steering gear, reconnect the fluid supply line fittings using new O-rings.
Install the clamp and rubber gasket, then install the steering gear as shown in the next section.
