Door mirror
On models with power mirrors, disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Where required, on models with manual mirrors, remove the adjustment lever.
Use a screwdriver to remove the trim panel from the inner front edge of the door and disconnect the wire from the loudspeaker mounted at the trim panel.
Remove the three screws and lift the mirror assembly out of the door. On models with power mirrors, disconnect the plug (pic. 11.26).
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, however, check that the gaskets on the mirror housing have been correctly installed.
If desired, the glass on the mirror assembly can be removed for replacement without removing the assembly itself. On models with power mirrors, disconnect the negative battery terminal before starting work.
Carefully pry the glass out of the hinges with a screwdriver and, where required, disconnect the heater wires. Be careful, glass can be easily broken (pic. 11.28).
When installed, the mirror is simply pressed into the swivel joint (do not forget to connect the heater wires if required).
Removal and installation of the electric heated mirror switch
The switch can be removed from the inner door trim after it has been removed by unplugging the connector (pic. 11.27).
After installing the switch, install the inner door trim.
Removal and installation of the electric motor
Remove the mirror glass as above.
Loosen the three motor fixing screws, disconnect the plug connector, then remove the motor.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, so that the wire passes behind the electric motor and does not interfere with the operation of the mechanism.
Rear-view mirror in saloon
The mirror can be removed from the plate on the windshield after loosening the screw with a 2 mm socket wrench.
The mounting plate is attached to the windshield with special adhesive and should not be touched unless it is unavoidable. If you try to peel off this plate, there is a chance that the windshield may burst.
