Loosen the two bolts holding the caliper to the disc. Without disconnecting the brake hose, take the caliper to the side and hang it on a technological hook to the body so that the brake hose is not loaded.
Disconnect the parking brake cable and return spring from the parking brake shoe lever.
Loosen the clearance adjustment bolt between the brake pads and the parking brake drum.
Using a screwdriver as a lever, remove the wheel hub cap.
Loosen and unscrew the hub nut, remove the lock washer.
Remove the brake disc, made integral with the hub.
Check the condition of the hub axle and replace it if necessary.
Remove the dirt ring from the hub with a screwdriver.
Remove inner wheel bearing inner race.
Rest the hub on the mandrel KM 466 2, with a drift (see picture) press out the outer race of the inner bearing by moving the drift around the circumference to prevent jamming. Using a drift, press out the outer race of the outer bearing.
Clean the hub and check its condition.
Press the outer race of the outer bearing into the hub as far as it will go.
Press the outer race of the inner bearing into the hub.
Install the inner bearing inner race into the hub.
Using a mandrel of the required diameter, press the mudguard ring into the hub.
Stuff the hub bearings with bearing grease, lubricate the working edge of the dirt ring with grease.
Reinstall the brake disc that forms one assembly with the hub.
Press in the inner race of the outer bearing, install the lock washer, tighten the hub nut.
Adjust the clearance in the hub bearings as above.
Attach the parking brake cable and return spring to the parking brake shoe lever.
Adjust the clearance between the shoes and the parking brake drum, as indicated in the section «Brake system».
Reinstall the brake caliper and tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 6.5 kgf·m.
Check the condition of the brake pads and replace if necessary.
Install the rear wheel.
Press the brake pedal sharply two or three times to set the pistons to the working position.
