Removal
Raise the rear of the car and place it on stands. Remove the rear wheel.
Remove the brake drum and hub cap.

Remove the cotter pin and unscrew the hub nut.

Remove the hub from the axle together with the lock washer.
Using the KM 266 5 mandrel, press the outer ring of the outer bearing into the new hub until it stops, and then the outer ring of the inner bearing.
Install the inner bearing rings.
Depending on the design, lubricate or pack both hub bearings, the working edge of the seal and the hub cavity with bearing grease.

Press the seal into the hub using a mandrel of the appropriate size.
Installation
Install the hub together with the lock washer and tighten the hub nut.
Adjust the clearance in the bearings and the clearance between the drum and the brake shoes of the rear brakes.
