Raise the rear of the vehicle and place it on stands. Remove the wheel cap.
Remove the hub cap and remove the cotter pin from the hub nut.
While turning the wheel, tighten the hub nut to a torque of 2.5 kgf·m.
Loosen the hub nut slightly so that you can insert the lock washer with a screwdriver by simply pressing your finger without applying significant force. Do not rest the screwdriver against the hub. If the hole for the cotter pin does not match the slot in the nut, tighten the crown nut until the hole matches the nearest slot in the nut.
Again, check that the lock washer moves freely.
If the lock washer is jammed, back off the nut to the nearest slot in the nut.
Secure the hub nut with a cotter pin.
Install the hub cap and wheel cover in place.
