Removal



Raise the rear of the vehicle and place a hydraulic jack under the rear suspension beam.

Disconnect the parking brake cable holder from the spring.

Remove the bolts securing the rear brake pressure regulator spring bar to the spring.

Unscrew the nut and remove the pin securing the front end of the spring to the bracket.

Unscrew the nut and remove the pin securing the rear end of the spring from the shackle.

Loosen the stepladder mounting nuts and remove the stepladder with the lining.

Remove the rear suspension spring.

Installation



Replace the rubber bushings securing the ends of the spring with new ones.

Install the spring so that the short half of the spring is directed towards the front of the vehicle.

Install the pad and stepladder in place. Tighten the nuts securing the ends of the stepladder, making sure that the difference in the lengths of the protruding threaded ends of the stepladder does not exceed 3 mm.

Attach the ends of the spring to the body bracket and the ladder.

Install the parking brake cable holder.

Install the rear brake pressure regulator spring mounting bar to the spring in place.

Remove the hydraulic jack and lower the rear of the vehicle.

Check the adjustment of the rear brake pressure regulator.
