Shift into neutral and depress and hold the clutch pedal. Place your right foot on the brake pedal. On a car with an automatic transmission, move the transmission control lever to position P or N.



Turn the ignition key to position II and wait until the preheating light goes out. Then turn the ignition key to position III.

If you need to try to start the engine again, return the ignition key to position • and after a pause of approximately two seconds, try to start it again.
