Starting the engine. Cars with gasoline engines (Opel Omega B2)

Shift into neutral and depress and hold the clutch pedal.

Place your right foot on the brake pedal. On a car with an automatic transmission, move the gearshift lever to position P or N.



Turn the ignition key to position III.

If you need to try to start the engine again, return the ignition key to position • and after a pause of approximately two seconds, try to start it again.

The engine speed will be slightly higher after starting the engine, but as it warms up, it will gradually return to normal.
