To shift from 4th to 5th gear, the gear shift lever should be moved to neutral position and pushed to the right, applying some force to the lever.
When returning from 5th gear to 4th gear, pressure may be applied while shifting out of 4th gear.
When shifting from 5th to 4th gear, no force is required on the gear lever.
R - reverse gear
Reverse gear should only be engaged after the vehicle has stopped by lifting the ring under the handle on the gearshift lever and moving the lever to position R.
