2. Remove the boot from the shaft - if necessary, the boot to be replaced can simply be cut off.
3. Check the condition of the hinge, if necessary, replace it (see Section 4).
4. Fit the inner collar of the boot onto the shaft, then put on the new boot so that it is fixed in the groove of the shaft with its narrow sleeve.
5. Stuff the hinge with the required type of grease, squeeze out the remaining grease into the boot.
6. Place the hinge on the shaft - do not forget to replace the retaining ring and monitor the reliability of its snapping into the receiving groove. Use a plastic mallet if necessary.
7. Pull the boot over the hinge (see resist. illustration) and release air from under it by prying the outer edge with a screwdriver - the outer edge of the anther should be fixed in the hinge groove.

8. Secure boot with new clamps (see resist. illustration) - Strictly follow the clamp manufacturer's instructions.

9. Install the drive shaft on the car (see section 2).
