Warning! If the battery is disconnected with the selector lever in position P, the lever will be locked in this position.

1. To release the lever from the lock, remove the selector lever trim and, using a thin screwdriver blade, press the locking lever on the left front side of the selector lever.
2. Move the selector lever to all positions and check that the engaged gear is correctly displayed on the selector lever position indicator.
3. Set the selector lever to position P.
4. To access the gear selector cable, remove the battery and battery support.

5. Remove the locking bracket and release the gear selector cable housing from the bracket on the top of the transmission.

6. Check that the selector lever (1) is set to position P (2), then move the lever to all positions and return it to its original position. Lock the selector cable housing by pressing the locking bracket until it clicks.
7. Install the battery and check the operation of the selector lever.
