Pre-departure checks (Opel Vectra A)

Before leaving, be sure to check:

• tire condition and air pressure
• engine oil and fluid levels in the engine compartment
• windows, mirrors and exterior lights must be free of dirt, snow and ice and ready for use
• do not move any objects on the shelf in front of the rear window (they are reflected in the glass, block the view and during sudden braking they can fall into the passenger compartment and cause injury to passengers)
• correct installation of seats, seat belts and mirrors
• do not block doors (in case of an accident this will provide access from the outside)
• brakes

Exhaust gases are poisonous

Carbon monoxide, which is part of the exhaust gases, is very toxic, but it is colorless and odorless. Therefore, it is prohibited to:

• inhale exhaust fumes
• leave the engine running in a closed room.

Also make sure that the trunk lid is closed while driving, as this may allow exhaust gases to enter the vehicle's interior.
