Front Suspension Maintenance (Opel Vectra A)

The front suspension does not require any maintenance. Only the following visual checks should be performed periodically.

The front suspension must be inspected as part of maintenance every 15,000 km.

Loosen the front wheel mounting bolts, raise the front of the vehicle and remove the front wheels.

Check the integrity of the axle shaft joint boots using a portable lamp or flashlight, paying attention to possible traces of oil.

Attention! If the cover is damaged, replace the hinge immediately, as dirt will quickly destroy it.

Check the front strut for any traces of oil.

Install the front wheels, lower the vehicle and tighten the bolts crosswise to 110 Nm.
