Do not use detergents, caustic soda or gasoline-based cleaners to clean vinyl panels. Regular soap combined with warm water is perfect for this purpose. Stubborn dirt can be easily removed with a soft brush (with water and soap). Cleaning of vinyl panels is carried out with the same frequency as washing of other surfaces of the car body.
After cleaning, it is very helpful to coat the panels with high-quality protective compounds for rubbers and plastics against oxidation and cracking. The same compounds can be used to treat sealing strips of body openings, vacuum lines and rubber hoses, which are often destroyed by the chemical influence of the environment. The solutions are also suitable for treating tires.
