Never wash or dry your car in the sun. Water stains on paintwork are inevitable.
From salt sprinkled on the road, internal folds, flanges, door and hood joints are especially susceptible to corrosion. These places after each, including automatic washing, should be thoroughly cleaned with a sponge and dried with skin and air.
Some bituminous stains, traces of oil, insects and other contaminants are not always removed during washing. They need to be removed as soon as possible, otherwise they can damage the paint.
