The intake manifold must be removed, for example, when working on the injection system.
Removal
1. Remove the engine shield and the exhaust pipe.
2. Remove the intake manifold from the cylinder head.
3. To do this, remove the charge air thermometer cable, the vacuum hose from the check valve, and the lower portion of the intake manifold.
4. Unscrew the intake manifold from the cylinder head and bracket and remove the seals.
5. Do not unscrew the seal for the check valve.
Installation
1. Screw the intake manifold onto the cylinder head with a torque of 25 Nm, replace all seals.
2. Screw the oil filter housing support and return line with a torque of 25 Nm.
3. Install the engine shield and exhaust pipe.
